Eros (or Cupid)

Photocopy

Peter’s images of Eros (or Cupid) are true to the spirit of the oldest Greek poetry, in which the god of love figures as a wayward, unruly boy, delighting in mischief. In this image, he points his bow upward, indicating that, though small in size, he is capable of having a great effect on the adults around him.
