Photocopy on transparent plastic mounted against foil
Making some adjustments in the original design – doing away with the billowing drapery and adding a decorative border, but also making subtler changes – Peter photocopied it onto a sheet of transparent plastic and mounted that sheet against a background of colored foil. The combination of the bold black forms with the sparkle of the foil produces a precious, jewel-like effect, demonstrating the surprising decorative potential of the initial graphic ideas and resulting in some of Peter’s most beautiful images
